Avice chuckled, but it was muffled. "It's Da."

He leaned over to kiss her temple. "Love you."
She buried her face in his side, taking in his scent.
He frowned, looking around. "..Eden?"
"Yeah, but still. I feel like I always have had to do that."
She nodded, wrapping her arms around him. "Okay. I love you."
He pursed his lips, before turning around.
"Still. He should have been in check."
She went to him gratefully, a soft sigh escaping her lips.
He seemed uncertain. "Can I turn around now..?"
"I'm sorry about that."
"I know," she said gently. "I just.. I wasn't feeling right."
He folded his hands nervously, before doing so. "Well an interesting start.."
He gave her a smile. "Your family is lovely."
