She frowned, but returned her attention to Aubrey and the chickens.
"Well, I don't want you to wait to eat because of me.. It could take awhile." *** She groaned. "Fiiiine."
"Oh yeah? Fine. Still not telling you."
She frowned, but nodded. "Okay.."
"Eh.. 30-45 minutes?" *** She grinned. "Wonderful."
"But it's a surprise.. You'll end up knowing by today."
She kissed Aubrey's temple, before turning to him. "Do you want to hold her?"
"Sounds good to me." *** "Mm. Barely."
"Good secrets! Surprises!"
She silenced, before looking back at Aubrey. "Okay.. Sorry."
"I know." *** She grinned. "It is?"
"Yyyep. As a surprise."
"They aren't totally sanitary, you know."
He gave her a quick kiss. "Only teasing." *** "Yep. And I'm trying to make you blush.'
"Exactly."
"I mean, if you got it out here it could get infected.. But you would know better than me."
"I shall sue you for using pictures without credit," he teased. *** She kissed him deeply. "I really love you."
