He nodded slowly. "Alright." *** "I'm pretty sure you said not to move things. I only packed!"
She squinted at him suspiciously. "Sure.."
His expression looked panicked, but he said nothing.
He blinked. "You awake?" *** "I packed my things."
"You have fallen right into their trap. Next thing you know you'll be making Thanksgiving turkeys on the weekends."
"Okay," he said slowly. "I'll trust you."
He ran his fingers through her hair, staying quiet. *** She broke into a grin. "I missed you!"
She sighed with feigned sadness. "I always knew cooks were evil and manipulating. Never thought they would get you, though."
He frowned suddenly. "Let go..?"
His eyes fluttered, and he was quiet as he remembered where he was. *** Callie looked up, approaching the door and opening it.
"A culinary protege?"
He paused, before kissing her cheek. "No worries. She sounds like lovely woman."
Landon shifted slightly, a soft sigh escaping him. *** Callie sat in her apartment, a majority of the things packed.
She proceeded to eat, her expression warm. "It's good."
