She rolled her eyes, proceeding to pull out ingredients. "I'm simply cooking. No overexertion here."
"Would you feel better if I came with you?" he asked curiously. "I mean, I probably would anyways.."
"Well.. You'd probably think it's too early in a relationship anyways, you know?"
"Not enough," she said stubbornly, heading to the kitchen. "I'm making dinner."
Francis nodded, placing down the payment. "When do you plan on going to the lab?"
She pursed her lips. "Yes, I am."
She sighed, standing up. "Nope. That's it. I'm making dinner."
He nodded. "It was. Thank you."
"I'm just joking, though."
She nodded. "You can do it. Don't worry."
He kissed the back of her hand. "I love you too, Poppy."
She grinned at him. "Might as well move in, huh?"
She pursed her lips. " Nothing unusual. Raw meat, caffeine, alcohol, raw eggs.. Mostly raw stuff. And smoked seafood."
He reached and took her hand. "I'm sure."
She looked down, laughing slightly. "I'd love to spend the night."
She shook her head, a grin on her face. "I don't mind what we have."
His gaze returned to her. "I'm not cross."
