"I'm not tired," she said easily, running her hand through his hair, her nose brushing his jaw. "I'm just.. resting."

"I just wanted to have breakfast with you."
She nodded, her arms around him. "Yeah."
"I can carry things myself!"
He crossed his arms. "No.."
She inhaled deeply, his smell reminder her of the ocean. "It's wonderful."
She paused, taking breaths. "Let me carry things!"
"Don't do that. I just want a nice breakfast."
"Sure," she said warmly. "You're near."
"My child will learn from me!"
He glanced at her. "Don't.."
She buried her face in his shoulder. "It's nice right here."
She nearly climbed over his shoulder, reaching for the things.
He flushed slightly. "I've had enough of you."
She laughed breathlessly. "God.. I love you."
