Her hand reached up to brush the feather. "Nearly forgot about that.."
She pursed her lips in thought. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder?"
He gently kissed her forehead before slipping out of her grip, going to put some things away.
She raised an eyebrow. "Me? A bird?"
"You know.. The lobger you wait the better it is! I forgot the saying."
He kissed her cheek, his arms gentle.
"Not replace," she said, "just find a new one! I like birds anyways.."
He grinned. "I know."
"No worries. We can get a new bird, if you'd like!"
He groaned, but didnt quite let go.
She grinned brightly at him. "Right. Sorry."
She looked back at him with a grin for a moment, before turning forward again. "The longer you wait the better the reward."
He kept his arms around her waist. "Nooo.."
She kissed his cheek. " Yeah, I know. Just like how you named your bird."
She chuckled. "You will have to wait until we reach the pet store."
"No.."
"I knew it."
"No. You told me we are splitting up.." she paused. "Unless you want to kiss. Then maybe."
"I'm not being an ass! Besides.. I've got you trapped."
