She took it, her grip tight and uncertain. Her eyes were watery, but no tears escaped.

She chuckled slightly. "You're going to kill me one day."
"Then share soup with me! You're being stubborn.."
There was a pause before the door opened slightly, and she peered out with wide eyes. Her hands covered her nose and mouth, as one or both were...
"Yes," she replied, "but you're doing it better than me."
"You're the one who wanted to kiss me earlier And now we can't even share soup."
"I said stay away!" Her voice was sharp, but cracked slightly.
"Nothing right now," she teased. "I worked a lot harder for this than you, jerk face."
