Gabe squinted at Michael before nodding, heading off.
She grinned, shifting closer. "I love you."
He looked back. "You okay?"
"Well, no. Finding things for them to play with."
"That I do," he replied, passing them to get inside. "I'll see you again, probably."
She returned to him, lying back.
Eventually he found the trail, looking around.
"Michael," he replied easily. "Nice to meet you."
She smirked, moving and grabbing them before tossing them to him.
He smiled, starting off.
He shrugged. "I didn't look."
She nodded, giving him a kiss. "Of course."
He nodded slowly. "This should be a break, then."
"Not me," Gabe said. "Leifson. We had to."
She grinned at him. "Hey. Sleep well?"
"What have you been doing?"
"You helped with the mission. He had to know a lot."
She slipped back beside him, wrapping an arm around him and kissing his temple. "Yeah?"
He shut the door behind him, his eyes bright. "It's nice out.
