"Ah!" he said brightly. "Worth it?"

She watched the door, unsure how to feel. A bit numb. She stood up and went to look for Natalia, going to tell his response.
He nodded, exhaling deeply. "Yeah. Now we know."
He smiled softly. "I love you too." *** She nodded. "Agreed."
She hesitated, continuing to sit and tear at the paper. "Oh."
He waved his hand, coughing slightly. "You okay?"
He nodded sleepily. "Sleepover." *** "Fantastic!"
She blinked, her hands wringing nervously. "You're leaving? Tonight?"
"We'll see."
He shifted slightly. "Hey." *** "I think it's exciting too."
"Lots of reasons," she said, her tone barely passive aggressive. "Why are you here?"
"Uhhhh huh.. we'll see."
