"You do?" she asked curiously, cocking her head. "Is that bad?"
"Hm. Sounds violent." *** She shrugged. "Eh. Are you?"

"I thought that was a given."
"But what if I have a nightmare?" he asked teasingly. *** She kissed his cheek. "Thank you."
"I'm just as nervous," he said softly, "but I know we'll be okay."
She smiled. "You're my favorite too."
He nodded. "I know that." *** "You don't have to make fun of me.."
He took her hand, squeezing it. "We'll be okay."
She squinted. "I know lots of people. Don't you?"
He shrugged. "Sure." *** She grinned, kissing him back as her fingers brushed his jaw.
He nodded, sitting straight before opening the door and stepping out. "Let's."
"Psh. Don't even try. You're the nicest person I know."
"You're short." *** She nodded. "I do."
He sighed contentedly. "I love you too, Poppy."
She laughed slightly. "Rude."
"Yeah, that's true. You are small-ish. Without the ish." *** She cocked her head. "Well.. I care about you more."
He nodded, folding his hands. "Yeah. I'm okay."
She nodded, satisfied. "I will, too."
"It's small-ish?" *** She smiled slightly, her fingers grazing his jaw.
