"It was just as scary for you as it was for me."
"I was worried you were upset with me..."
"I would never let anyone see it." *** Her fingers brushed his jaw carefully, and she pulled away self consciously after a moment. "Ha.. Sorry."
"It's okay to be sorry, but.. you have no reason to."
She shrugged, shaking her head. "Nothing."
"But with bunkbed couch? Ha." *** She rolled her eyes before kissing him lightly.
He squeezed her hand, pulling her into an embrace. "I'm sorry. Let's just get going."
She nodded, her gaze drifting to the floor.
"Hopefully not." *** She brushed her hand through his hair gently. "I really like you."
He hesitated, but offered a small smile. "But I didn't."
"I'm just as scared, you know," she murmured, "but I'm not going to run away."
He laughed. "That would look interesting." *** "Fine. I'm not angry."
He took it and stood up, cocking his head. "We'll be okay."
"Nothing," she said quietly. "I was just going to apologize again, and I know you don't want to hear that."
