She nodded agreeably. "Right. I like your hugs."
He squinted at her as he got dressed. "Would you rather me wear no clothes?"
"If you step out that door it means you don't like me." *** She shrugged. "Didn't quite think that through."
"How convenient," she teased, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I like hugging you too."
He rolled his eyes. "Well, I don't have clothes on, so I'm going to put them on."
He shook his head. "You're lying. Lying is bad. You like me enough." *** "What if it's something bad?"
She laughed. "Sort of. I mean, it's an option."
He smiled softly at her, holding his clothes. "Hey. I just need to get dressed real quick."
"You're joking," he said brightly. "I'm not dumb." *** She nodded. "It is."
She smiled, her head tilted slightly. "I would never judge you in a negative way. Besides, you're learning."
"Nope." *** She chuckled. "A sacred pact."
A bit later, Francis entered the bedroom, grabbing clothes from the dresser.
"Nervewracking?" she asked with a small laugh. "It's just me."
