He laughed brightly, his eyes warm. "The truth can't be silenced."
He sighed. "I usually don't worry. I know you can take care of yourself."
"I'll tell you," she reassured, turning over to him and giving him a kiss. "But it won't."
He kissed her again. "It's not!"
He brushed her hair gently. "Sorry I wasn't there."
She nodded. "It won't."
"No," he replied slowly. "I like kissing you!"
He kissed her temple. "Could you at least tell me where you got them?"
She tilted her head, a small grin on her face. "Positive."
He leaned forward to kiss her. "Me too."
He sighed, opening his arms to her. "I'm sorry."
"Nothing," she said warmly. "I just love you."
"You're arguing."
"You shouldn't keep things from me."
She shook her head softly, settling back gently. "Never mind."
He grinned. "You're just against me."
"Yeah, but I would have worried less if you had just told me." He crossed his arms. "Why wouldn't I worry?'
She turned her head, her voice sleepy as she spoke. "Jack?"
