"I was close to my mom," he told her thoughtfully. "My dad was okay, I suppose."
She rolled her eyes. "No fair."
"A lot, but they all amass into the fact that you're you."
He pursed his lips. "There's not much else to say."
She flushed slightly, but kissed his jaw. "I love you too."
