She squinted with a small nod. "That's right. And you me?"
He laughed. "Perhaps not. Good thing we're painting."
He glanced back, a warm grin spreading across his face as he went to greet her. "No worries. I made you tea."
"You just tried!"
"Oh, it wasn't that bad!" he teased playfully.
Francis stood in the kitchen over a cup of tea. He checked his watch impatiently, but sighed, debating on calling.
"Whatever," she murmured, crossing her arms. "Just don't die."
"Even though it was orange at first."
"Hmph," she muttered, sitting up. "I guess you're right."
He gave her a kiss, brushing back her hair. "I like it here."

"Yuh huh!" she argued. "And dead people don't get surprise kissed, either."
"Are you suuure?"
It did not take long for him to fall asleep as well, sighing softly.
She paused, before squinting. "I'll leave and never come back."
He beamed, brushing back her hair. "You sure?"
"Sleep well," he murmured softly, shutting his eyes.
She shook his shoulders gently. "If you don't wake up, no more kisses!"
