He grinned. "That was fun." *** "Could he be in another room?"
He pursed his lips. " Nothing. Just felt like holding your hand."
She frowned slightly, but easily shook off the look. "Oh."
"We were sneaky ninjas..' *** She frowned. "What?"
He offered his hand, his head cocking slightly.
She blinked. "You'd leave me?"
"A distraction!" *** She nodded slowly, before going to sit down.
"Right," he agreed, moving to kiss her cheek. "I love you."
"So.. You would?"
He laughed. "You threw a pillow at them. *** "That was weird.."
He grinned. "Yeah, cause I missed you too."
She nearly smiled, but kept the expression up. "But.. But you threatened to.."
He did, shutting the door as he took quick breaths. "They caught us!" *** She squinted. "Did they have blankets?"
"I missed you too," he said, glancing at her. "Though it hasn't been that long."
She sniffled, her expression sad and eyes wide. "You wouldn't leave me.."
He burst out laughing as well, his eyes bright as he glanced back. *** "Erm.. I don't know."
He kissed her hand before she went to the kitchen. "I'm okay, thanks."
"I'm gonna cry."
