"Hmm. Maybe?" *** Callie chuckled behind a hand, taking a sip of her water.
He nodded, grabbing clothes from the dresser before going to get changed.
She nodded. "Exactly!"
"Probably the lamp." *** Callie looked up. "Oh, yes! Chicken nuggets and pufferfish carrot sticks."
He stood up, cocking his head. "I'll come. I might have to leave a bit early for work, though."
She grinned at him. "You don't have to fear me! I'm just very set on making this day better."
"Hmm," he murmured. "I'm not quite sure. She probably won't even notice the coaster."
"So.. I shouldn't come?"
"But did it make your day any better?" S she teased.
"Let's hurry." *** She nodded. "True."
"Well, are you superstitious?"
After a moment, she pulled away, raising her hands defensively with a wide grin on her face.
He chuckled. "I'm not surprised. Let's go." *** "Alright," she said with a grin, "then we'll see."
He pursed his lips. "Why not?"
She laughed wildly, continuing her attack. "Never!"
He kissed her cheek before heading to the table, his expression bright as he picked up a coaster. "This one?" *** "Fine. You ask!'
"They're not all large and clumsy," he reassured. "Can I come?"
She laughed slightly, before lunging at him, hoping to tickle him.
He blinked, his brows furrowing. "Huh? I'm fine. Let's grab a coaster and head out." *** "But we wouldn't want to seem rude.."
He cocked his head curiously. "Where are you going?"
