He laughed quietly. "Yeah.." *** Callie pursed her lips. "Alright then.."
He stretched before laying next to her, wrapping his arms around her.
"I do, but they're not always bad."
He nodded, unplugging it. "Yeah, that works." *** Callie had to restrain herself from laughing, clearing her throat. "Water, please."
He gently placed her on the bed before relaxing next to her.
"Boring not always bad."
He chuckled. "Thanks." *** "And carrot sticks," she agreed.
He shut off the television before carefully picking her up and carrying her to their room.
"I didn't say it was bad," she countered, "just boring. Was your day good, at least?"
He beamed. "Really?" *** She kissed his cheek. "Let's go get those nuggets."
He rolled his eyes jokingly, his hand resting on her back. "I love you too."
She kissed the tip of his nose. "Incredibly dull day."
He kissed her cheek. "You're welcome. Now, let's go 'delight' Callie." *** She beamed at him. "Thanks, I think."
He nodded slowly. "I guess so."
She smiled, moving dramatically to lay on top of him. "Boooored."
