".. But a criminal." *** She grinned, staying still before looking up at him. "You're cute."
He beamed at her, his eyes playful. "Apparently."
She moved her hands away, grinning at him before standing up. "I should probably go to my room and change."
"Are you a criminal?" *** She crossed her arms. "You would rather watch movies with them."
He burst out laughing, shaking head. "You poor thing!"
"I'm not lying," she persisted, covering her eyes with her hands. "Most scars are cool, some are ugly. Yours are cool."
"That's fake." *** "Cause you like them more than me."
He laughed brightly. "I suppose that makes sense."
"Yes," she replied, "but only because they caused you pain. Otherwise, they look pretty cool."
"Theft is not artistry." *** She shook her head. "Nuh uh. They can't leave here."
He chuckled. "Its not real."
She chuckled, cocking her head. "Having scars or bruises doesn't change anything... Right?"
"Because. One lamp." *** "I won't watch movies with you, then."
He beamed at her. "They're just cheap jump scares."
She couldn't help but flush, laughing slightly. "Ach. You're attractive."
He grinned. "I do. I just can't have you stealing extra." *** She gasped. "You wouldn't!"
He laughed in amusement, brushing back her hair. "You okay?"
She pursed her lips, cocking her head. "I love you, you know."
"I'm gonna call the cops," he teased. *** She nodded sarcastically. "Oh, definitely."
He grinned, but continued watching the movie, keeping his arm over her.
