He cocked his head before standing as well, slowly approaching the bathroom before knocking.
" Aaaand I hate you." *** She kissed his cheek. "Of course."
She froze, looking at him with teary eyes. "No, baby. I'm the only coward here."
He raised an eyebrow. "What does that mean?"
"Well, you do do that." *** She grinned. "I'll protect you."
He buried her face in her arms. "Sorry."
He nodded. "That's right."
"Yeah. It's nice." *** "I think yes."
She got in and pulled her knees closer to her, hoping he wouldn't see the tears streaking down her face.
He pursed his lips. "That's not what I said."
He blinked, but kissed her nose. "I like your smile." *** "A fear?" she teased, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm sorry," she said quietly, letting go of his hands. "I'm sorry."
"I was!" he said innocently. "I'm serious!"
He grinned. "It's wonderful." *** She glanced at him. "Are you seriously scared?"
She lifted his hand and pointed at the twine. "Don't forget that," she said quietly, kissing the tip of his nose. "A break."
He smiled at her. "I'm teasing."
He blinked, before kissing her deeply, his hand on her waist. *** She grinned. "Oh, alright."
"But I did," she said, taking his hand, her voice cracking. In her eyes there was fear. "It's just a break.."
