He shook his head. "This morning." *** She squinted at him. "True."
How fingers wrapped around her and he gave her a lingering kiss. "I'll be back. I love you."
She paused, before expression adopted a condescending tone, her eyebrows raised expectantly. "Hm?"
"You kissed me, too." *** "Hmm. I suppose."
He looked to her, his eyes set. He leaned to kiss her cheek, his fingers brushing her jaw. "I have to."
She looked up at him. "Rich person face. Don't forget that."
He frowned. "Um.. I won't." *** She shook her head. "Tsk tsk tsk. No wonder."
He hesitated, his footsteps stuttering in a way where he looked uncertain.
She squeezed his hand. "No worries!"
He tapped his fingers nervously. "You wouldn't?" *** She chuckled. "That's ridiculous."
He looked back again, his eyebrows raised in worry.
She smiled up at him. "Not sure. I just know it won't last forever."
He raised his hands. "Oh, I don't have to. I wouldn't want to be a burden." *** She smiled at him. "Hopefully it was all cleared up."
