"Not often," she reassured. "Most puns are terrible."
He squinted at her, crossing his arms as he turned away. "You're mean."
"Cause it's the cherry on top, y'know? I actually have you."
She shrugged. "Perhaps."
His brows furrowed. "Don't say that.."
"I also like to kiss you," she said. "It's kinda like a victory."
"I can't do that. That would be teaching you a lesson."
He frowned. "Fine then."
"Well," she said softly, kissing his nose, "I like them. And I like you."
"Hmph," she joked. "Fine. Guess I won't help the kids sew anymore."
He laid back. "Really?"
"I like your eyes," she said, looking at them thoughtfully. "They're attractive."
She kissed his cheek playfully. "I know."
"You're being stubborn just by saying that," he teased, raising an eyebrow.
She smiled slightly. "Yeah. Those ones."
She laughed brightly, relaxing under his touch. " Yes. Let's throw the flat rocks at ice and listen to the vibrations that travel through the air...
"You definitely do. Don't deny it."
She kissed his jaw. "And," she began, "you're perfect in my eyes."
She sighed sadly, looking at the ground. "Maybe we should just go."
