Francis seemed to be doing fine with the bullets, finding cover and shooting back.
She grinned excitedly. "Perfect!"
She smiled slightly. "Of course I would."
Francis followed, shooting with practiced hands and a precise eye.
"Well.. Maybe we could watch the stars tonight?"
She shrugged. "I.. I don't know."
He frowned, readying his weapon. "Understood."
She sighed, her hand brushing his face. "Do you have any more work?"
"I could say the same for Val."
He smiled softly, his already loaded. "I love you too."
She grinned. "Alright. I love you."
She nodded slowly. "Yeah."
He nodded. "I promised."
"Well, your notes are pretty cute, but I like face to face better."
She was quiet for a moment. "I don't really regret it either."
He nodded, pulling out a gun. "You got it."
She kissed the tip of his nose. "Talking to you is better."
