Callie pulled the bag off her should as she stepped in, her head cocked slightly as she turned to Arlo. "How are you?"
"Maybe if you apologize, she would apologize," he told him. "This is really just a simple fix that you two are making difficult."
She frowned. "Don't say that."
She opened the door, giving a small wave. "Hello!"
Francis raised an eyebrow. "I think both of you owe each other ah apology."
Her hand brushed his cheek, and she looked nervous. "Three dogs works. Three is perfect."
Callie made her way through the hallway, knocking on the classroom.
"I asked her to apologize today," he said. "She didn't want to."
She nodded. "Two dogs and two cats. Maybe three cats."

Francis frowned. "No. She took medication."
"There's never enough of the ocean," she told him. "Especially the shore."

Francis crossed his arms. "Poppy is asleep. We can talk out here."
She nodded. "In.. In the summer the sky is blue and the clouds are perfect," she recalled. "And it's near the ocean."
He nodded, gathering the photos before leaving.
Francis carefully got up, sure not to wake her as he went and opened the door.
