She smiled slightly, pulling away from Jack to pick up the books. "Anyways.."
He backed up, his hand on her shoulder. "We should leave." *** She returned the gaze. "See you."
He sighed, glancing at her. "I'm sorry."
She looked up at him, then back at the girl. "Nice to meet you."
He panicked slightly. "Something's wrong." *** She nodded with a smile. "Me too."
He used a free a hand to place on her shoulder. "Are you excited to get home?"

He followed quietly. "Okay." *** She grinned. "Great. I'll be there."
He chuckled. "Teasing. I'd be happy to sleep on the bed with you. It's the best place, after all."
Avice turned the corner, only to see the two, she backed up and stealthily peeked around the corner.
