She nodded before turning and wandering off.
"But.. I don't want to die. What about Callie and Arlo? What would happen to them?" *** She chuckled softly. "Me too."
He laughed. "Sounds uncomfortable."
She leaned against his back, flipping through a book for a few minutes before standing straight. "Be right back."
"What happens if something stops us?" *** She sighed. "Okay. Sounds good."
He sighed sadly. "I can still sleep on the bed, right?"
She raised an eyebrow, a small smile crossing her face. "That's inappropriate, Curnow," she joked, her expression playful.
He nodded. "Are you sure about this?" *** She was quiet before nodding. "You're right. We should tell them."
He grinned. "He missed you. How'd you know?"
She nodded. "I'm going to find some books we can use."
He followed, his eyes cautious. "I know..." *** "Maybe they think we like each other more than them, though.."
He cocked his head. "He misses you. I can tell."
She kissed the tip of his nose. "We can research together!"
He sighed nervously. "Yeah. Yeah. Let's go." *** "But what if they take it the wrong way?"
"Not as good without you," he admitted. "I made sure to water your plants."
