He pretended to think. "I guess so."
"Right," she teased. "Cause I'm dreamy."
She laughed. "Maybe mentally.'
"Should we keep going?" he asked. "I brought human snacks too."
"You barely believe too?"
She laughed brightly. "You're basically the opposite of an ugly old lady."
He smiled softly, running his hands through her hair. "I love you."
She grinned. "Barely."
She cocked her head. "That's true. Most of them were ugly old ladies."
He grinned brightly, his hand on her jaw. "So I am enough?"
She kissed him. "I'm in love with you."
"Hah," she said sarcastically. "I used to hate my teachers."
He glanced at her with a small smile. "I'm sorry I'm not enough."
"That's good," she said. "I guess that's why we're married now, huh?"
She sighed. "I guess so."
