"A good surprise," she agreed. "I do remember specifically ordering a boyfriend to my door earlier this evening."
"That's true," he agreed. "Unless you want to have swimwear in the shower."
Landon was quiet for a moment, his arms crossed as he thought with furrowed brows.
She grinned. "What a pleasant surprise that I totally wasn't expecting!"
He chuckled. "You could."
He sighed. "It could have been her hand.."
Avice got up and opened the door, her head cocked slightly.
He looked back at her. "That was quick."
Landon crossed his arms nervously. "She'll be okay."

He stood over the sink, quietly washing the dishes.
He nodded. "It's the nearest one, right?"
She watched him go, her head cocked slightly before she stood and went to finish her work.
He got up and took his plate to the sink, where he began doing the dishes.
"U-Um.. she's alright though, right? Just at the hospital?"
"I love you too," she replied, squeezing his hand. "See you."
"Hm." He grinned. "Whatever."
