He came behind her, his arms wrapping around her waist.
She frowned. "The money?"

He got up and went to the kitchen, his head cocked slightly.
She frowned. "I wasn't referring to that."
She frowned. "Are you accusing me?"
A bit later, Francis sat up, his hand running through his hair.
"You've already been too generous, Arlo."
She crossed her arms. "Almost every day."
He slept soundly, warm under the blankets.
"Don't you?"
She frowned. "I wasn't hungry."
He only murmured quietly, pulling the blankets higher.
"That's not fair!" She frowned. "That's not fair."
She nodded. "Yeah, sounds good."
He shifted slightly, but didn't wake. His expression was content, and he turned over.
He nodded decisively. "50 with me, 50 with you?"
She kissed his cheek, her eyes bright. "That's true."
She crossed her arms. "Fine. Agreed."
