He kissed her back, his hand brushing her jaw.
Landon leaned forward slightly, his eyes thoughtful. "We have to figure out what that stuff is."
He raised an eyebrow, his lips parting with a smile. "I guess it does."
"That's a big lie."
He gave out, laying on the floor. " You cheated."
She grinned. "No? Only worried."
Landon cocked his head and Callie pursed her lips curiously.
He gasped in surprise. "You sneak!"
She stifled a chuckle. "Is that what you do?"
He smiled. "That's true."
He laughed, pulling back to look around for pillows as well.
She laughed. "Why a pillbug?"
He cocked his head. "Won't she be mad?"
He chucked the pillow at her, hoping his aim was good.
She chuckled. "What do you think you are?"
They both sat down, Callie leaning against Landon as he cocked his head. "Is she asleep?"
He waited for the right moment to strike, patiently holding a pillow.
She pursed her lips, her eyes thoughtful. "Definitely a snake. They're scary."
Callie and Landon entered, their shoulders brushing as they she laughed about a joke he told.
