"Teams are for people who prefer to work together!" He caught it and threw it back.
"And I can't fly, so what makes me a bird?"
He raised his arms to block it. "We're supposed to be on the same team!'
"I'm a bird? Sharks sometimes eat birds, you know."

He laughed, going off to gather the items.
"It's too late," she teased. "You already said."
He turned and walked towards the apartment, barely looking back.
He grinned brightly. "Gather the pillows."
She laughed. "I could see that."
He gave a small wave. "See you later."
He grinned. "I thought it seemed fun."
She stuck out her tongue. "That's an odd choice."
He frowned. "I guess."
He perked up. "Wait. I have an idea. Build a pillow fort while the cookies cool off?"
She sighed. "Another time."
"Dumb decisions are."
He chuckled. "Cold-hearted."
