"But you're not deliberately trying to scare me right now."
He smiled slightly, then mumbled under his breath, "That's my girl."
She grinned and placed her hands on his shoulders, reaching up to give him a kiss. "I'm in love with you too."
"No," he argued, "I'm scared of people who try to scare me."
He crossed his arms, curious to see what she would do.
She was quiet for a moment. "Barely."
He frowned. "Yes. I don't really like jumpscares.."
He nodded slowly. "I've noticed," he said. "She's quick, though, and can use her size to get out easier."
She gasped, feigning offense. "I am not an alcoholic!"
He shook his head. "No I'm not."
Francis cocked his head curiously, watching with interest.
She laughed, her eyes bright. "Shh."
"I'm not!"
He nodded, watching with interest.
She laughed. "Shhhuush."
He frowned. "I see."
He nodded. "So what is this?"
