She raised an eyebrow, but shook her head. " You're all set. Send the last one up?"
He went to take a shower, setting his bag by the door.
Avice raised an eyebrow scoldingly at Salem before turning back around.
She shook her head. "No way, Eleanor. I love someone else. So does he."
He grinned. "Sounds great."
She turned slightly on her chair, folding her legs as she looked around.
Callie grinned. "Only teasing, sweetheart. But no, I don't love Arlo."
He grinned. "Sounds good."
Avice was at the counter, ordering a drink.
Callie frowned playfully. "Keep your voice down or else I'll smack you when no one is looking."
"I missed you too," he said softly. "I don't know if I'm more excited about sleep or cheesecake."
She went off, going to get a drink.
Callie rolled her eyes. "Of course not. I like someone else."
He kissed her cheek. "I love you."
