She sighed. "I believe it."
He chuckled softly before going to get his things together for work.
She grinned. "I know."
Callie cocked her head slightly. "You two seem really well for each other."
"Thanks," he said gratefully. "Love you."
She rested her head on his shoulder. "I didn't mean to hurt you too bad."
She knelt down, her lips pursed slightly. "Sure. If you want to."
He kissed her forehead. "That's okay. I'll see you later."
She frowned and kissed his cheek. "Love you."
She visibly panicked. "I don't know what to tell you."
He brushed her jaw with his hand. "Perfect."
"Good," she teased. "They should."
"But, like, not in a bad way!" she tried to fix. "He told me that he kinda feels scolded around her."
He nodded. "Definitely. I just felt like telling you again."
She squinted at him. "Petty move."
"Landon thinks she's scary sometimes, too." She raised an eyebrow. "He thinks she's mean sometimes."
He observed her for a moment before standing up and moving behind her, kissing the side of her neck. "I love you."
She crossed her arms. "No, because if I do then got won't eat either."
