She shrugged. "Y'know.. orange maybe?"
He cocked his head. "Would you like my coat?" *** "How many would you say?"
He groaned. "I do love you, though!"
She sighed. "Okay! Fine. Two dogs, two cats. What kind of dog?"
He nodded, heading for the entrance. "Yep." *** "Hmm," she murmured, before smiling into her scarf playfully. "If only someone could do something."
"This is literally your apartment."
"Um.. No. That's too much noise and responsibility." She crossed her arms. "Two cats, one dog."
He joined moments later, giving a small wave. "Hey." *** ".. Did they forget?"

His hand brushed her cheek. "It's no charade."
"Hmm," she murmured. "Outskirts maybe?"
(Yep!) *** "Are you sure?" she asked. "You don't have to pay. And what do you need to talk about?"
He held tight, pulling her closer and kissing her neck. "I do love you."
She laughed, looking down. "There's a difference between staying on it and near it."
Landon went to leave, quickly heading out the door with his coat. *** She nodded. "Yeah sorry," she mumbled. "Still a little sick."
He moved to wrap his arms around her waist. "You're not leaving."
She pursed her lips in thought. "Yeah."
"I'll be on my way, too!" *** She jumped slightly. "Oh," she said, her voice still scratchy. "Hey."
