He sighed. "It's alright, though."
"The smartest?" he asked. "That's pretty smart."
She glanced back at him. "Nothing. Just wanted to sit for a second."
He laughed. "Good thing we're not in a relationship."
"And I'm smart?"
She smiled slightly and sat up carefully, looking out the window.
"You could say that," he agreed. "I like cooking."
He scrunched his nose. " Not the cutest."
She kissed him softly. "I'm hurt."
He nodded. "Thank you. I appreciate any food, considering Callie isn't a good cook herself."
He joined her, but didn't jump. "I appreciate it."
She took his face in her hands. "Not even listen to your girlfriend?"
