He grinned brightly. "I love cats!"
She flinched slightly, but continued. "I don't think..."
He rolled his eyes and stepped out of the car. "I won't. I love you."
Landon's eyes widened with excitement. "A cat! What's his name?"
Avice was hesitant to touch him, but rested a hand on his shoulder carefully, her eyes serious. "Jack.."
He smiled. "That's better. Thank you for driving me."
He knocked, then crossed his hands behind his back patiently.
Avice panicked slightly. "Oh.."
He cocked his head. "But you called me a jerk."
He managed to find a nearby parking spot, and gazed up at the building before going inside.
Avice hurried over, her eyes sharp and concerned. ".. You're serious?"
He laughed brightly. "Wow. Rude. Okay."

He laughed softly. "Definitely."
He nodding, turning to go to his car. "See you."
