Avice began walking, her eyes sharp and cool as they gazed along the floor, watching the rocks and small plants with little interest.
He frowned. "Goodness. Where do we even start?"
"You didn't like me much, either," he replied.
Avice pursed her lips, her eyebrows furrowing slightly.
He nodded, looking down. "Right."
"Not the very beginning, though!"
Avice listened carefully, her head cocked slightly as she thought.
He chuckled. "Cool."
He rolled his eyes. "Would you rather me have not said those things?"
He nodded. "That works."
He squinted at her. "You'll have to show me eventually."
He pursed his lips. "I didn't flirt that much at the beginning."
She frowned. "Aw."
He grinned. "I knew it!"
He laughed. "Not at all."
She smiled, cocking her head slightly. "I love you too. Now, we gotta go punch some underground people, right?"
He paused. "Do you think dinosaurs are still alive and just hiding from us?"
"I don't forget," he said, "I just keep doing it."
