After a moment she paused, smiling. "I love you."
"I doubt that was even half the reason."
She kissed him again, a small smile creeping on her face.
"Does it now?" he asked sarcastically.
"I know," she said smoothly, "but I enjoyed it."
"It also means that I get a say as well," he told her, smiling slightly. "And I say no thanks."
She laughed lightly, his reaction seemingly amusing. "Again?"
"I'm sure."
She paused for a moment, pulling away. "Like this?"
"I should have a choice," he said stubbornly.
She smiled before leaning in and kissing him deeply, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He frowned, but raised an eyebrow playfully. "No thank you."
She kissed his mouth this time, though once again it was quick. "Hm?"
"Definitely," Francis said agreeably. "It's good that you're moving so close, too."
She laughed, and rolled her eyes and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, almost as if she were teasing him. "Like that?"
He nodded in agreement. "It's quite nice."
She pursed her lips. "I guess."
Francis looked up. "I kind of like the rain, but the sun is nice."
"Well that's what you said!"
