After a pause, he spoke up, opening the door. He was wearing a simple gray shirt, and black pants. "Yep!"
"That sounds stressful for you," she commented. "I'm sorry."
He faltered slightly, looking at the ground with a deep sigh. "She's not okay."
He got up and quickly got dressed, running his fingers through his hair as he went.
She brushed back his hair. "It's okay. I'm sure it'll get better soon, right?"
He glared at her, but shook his head. "Fire.. unexplained."
He nodded, tilting his head slightly.
She rubbed his back soothingly. "What makes you say that?"
