He stood up and set her down carefully, taking her hand afterwards. "Are you tired?"
He tilted his head, starting for the building. "Are you cold?'
She shut her eyes, sighing contentedly. The sleep that overtook her came quickly, and she dozed off without a sound.
After a moment, he pulled away, giving her a quick kiss. "Want to head home?"
She settled back down, turning over so that her back was against his chest. "Sleep well."
He looked up at the sky, then at her. "You ready?"
He pressed his forehead to hers, his eyes watching her with more awe than when he saw the sunset. "And you are everything to me, my love."
After a moment, she kissed him deeply, then pulled away with a teasing glint in her eyes. "Let's sleep."
He joined soon after, putting the keys in his pocket. "Hey!"
He laughed quietly, giving her a kiss. "Science rules all."
"I will," she told him softly, continuing to give him small kisses along his jaw. "I love you."
(Yeah, that works.)
"It only makes sense," he agreed. "I know I love you dearly."
She kissed his neck gently, moving up to his collarbone. "You should try to sleep."
(Callie probably isn't going for a walk, so I'm not sure.)
He kissed her forehead. "Good. You often tell me I'm a flirt."
"A little," she admitted, looking up at him. "Are you?"
