"Lots of things," he said, tilting his head. "As a photographer, you want to go places where other people can't, and you can get into trouble."
"Truly," he insisted. "You're the love of my life. I can't see faults in you."
"I wanted to be there to help you. You shouldn't feel guilty for what happens to me."
Landon waved reassuringly. "Don't worry. I've been told I'm excellent at making up excuses."
He grinned at her, giving a loving kiss. "I don't know if that's true. The only perfection I see here is you."
She frowned. "You aren't being selfish. I made the decision for myself if I should go or not, okay?"
"I don't know," he said slowly. "We might."
"Am I that good to you?"
She held out her arms for him, her eyes bright. "I'm glad I could be there for you."
He pursed his lips. "What if we don't get caught?"
He tilted his head curiously. "Get over what?'
She smiled slightly. "Much. Thank you."
"I don't know," Landon replied. "Maybe a little."
She shifted slightly, watching him as he worked. She didn't say anything, though, not wanting to disturb.
"I'm glad," he said softly. "It's good to hear."
"Okay," he relented, sighing uncertainly. "We'll see."
She nodded, quietly. "Okay.. thanks."
He rolled his eyes, and he kissed her cheek. "I still care about if you like it or not."
"Well, I don't have a better idea, and I'm pretty sure they won't believe we're related."
She looked up at him, her gaze observant. "As well as I can be.."
