She squinted at him. "Fine."
She rolled her eyes. "Mhm. Okay."
He kissed her cheek. "Don't tease me."
She raised her arms. "I know!"
"Yeah, but everything else is the same."
He smiled, looking back out at the city. "Everyone says nice things once in awhile."
She frowned and reached down to pick up snow, only to throw it at his face.
"They're basically the same thing."
He put his arm around her, kissing the top of her head. "Perhaps. It's unintentional."
She tensed, shaking her head to get the snow off, sputtering. "Jerk!"
She kissed the side of his neck softly. "So you would have lied to me?"
He tilted his head. "I didn't mean it that way."
She glanced around before dropping the snow, brushing her hands off.
She laughed. "Don't worry. You tried."
"They all stand out," he replied. "But they also blend in."
She did so, looking around nervously, the snow chilling her hands.
"Not really," she teased, her hand reaching up to brush his jaw.
He looked around quietly, before joining her. "Really?"
When she heard silence, she cautiously peered out, snow in hand.
She squinted at him, but a smile played on her lips. "I got that."
