She nodded, smiling softly. "I adore you."
She pursed her lips, and Landon sighed, my smiled nervously. "She watches a lot of movies."
Francis shifted again, half awake at this point.
She nodded, watching him quietly. "..Yeah."
Callie nodded. "Government."
Francis slept silently, unaware of all that was going on in the other room.
"Sure," she said. "That sounds nice."
"Maybe," Landon said. "It's hard to tell."
He didn't wake up, only shifted slightly with a murmur before settling.
"I know," she said softly. "I do, though."
"It is," he agreed. "Very weird."

"I know," she said, squinting at him. "Still."
Landon nodded thoughtfully. "We'll see."
He sighed, taking him a bit before he was able to drift off to sleep.
"I know," she said quietly. "I worry about you, too. There's no helping it."
Callie crossed her arms, unsure how to respond. "You think the government is killing people who have lost their soul mates?"
He shut his eyes. "Sleep well."
She frowned. "Sorry."
