Francis slipped in quietly, waiting by the door patiently as he watched.
"I'm positive," she said, nodding. "Trust me."
"Nope," he said firmly. "Not at all."
He went the other direction, glancing back before continuing.
She tilted her head. "Of course."
"Yes," he said. "Loud and clear."
"I love you too. I'll see you," he said, smiling at her.
She smiled, taking his hand. "Good. That's good."
He frowned. "I'm not."
"Tonight," he promised. "Later tonight."
She sighed, kissing his cheek. "Okay. I won't worry as much."
"It's not. I'm not stubborn," he told her sternly.
"Definitely."
"But I am," she said firmly. "I want you to be okay."
"I'm not stubborn," he said stubbornly.
"Of course," he said. "Whenever you want.:
"I can't help it," she told him. "I'm worried."
"It was tough," he said sarcastically.
"I'm only teasing," he said, kissing her cheek.
