"She did?" she asked, a confused look crossing her face. "Huh."
"No," he said. "It's fine."
"I know you are," he said, "but she's gone now."
"She does? How can you tell?"
He chuckled slightly. "I really do hate them."
"It's okay," he said. "It was Vivienne' s fault."
"She's intimidating," she said. "Maybe not to you."
"They're just disgusting and pointless and annoying." He frowned. "I could go on."
"Not that long," her answered quietly. "I didn't want to be there anymore."
"Natalia makes me nervous," she admitted. "It's uncomfortable for me."
Francis looked around. "I really hate moths."
"He did?" he asked, his brow furrowed. "That must be why he didn't say anything to me."
Avice let out a sigh. "That was scary."
"Yeah," he agreed. "That would be weird."
"That's good," he said. "It'll be nice to see him."
"Still there," she said, her tone slightly nervous. "Better than before, though."
"I like you too," he said softly, tilting his head.
"He is?" Francis asked. "When?"
Avice was quiet, only pursing her lips as she turned her head away slightly.
