He squinted at her. "Uh huh."
"No," she said sternly. "It wasn't your fault at all, okay?"
He stood up as well. "I'm sure they're lovely."
"I don't think that's true."
"Mhm," she murmured softly, before looking up at him with a more serious expression. "It's not your fault I got hurt, you know."
"I'm drying you off," he said smoothly. "Let's go get you some dry clothes, okay?"
"Hm.. okay," he said. "Just be careful."
She wrapped her arms around tightly, burying her face in his shoulder. "Definitely."
He laughed. "No, not right now."
He looked at it, then her. "Are you sure this is safe?"
She grinned brightly, observing his features thoughtfully. "Wow."
He grinned slightly, and continued to brush her hair. "It's a good thing we're getting married."
He nodded, peering ahead. "Okay."
She looked up at him, her eyes sincere. "You mean it?"
He stopped brushing her hair. "Yes?"
He nodded. "So how far is the building?"
"Just nice things," she said, shrugging slightly. "I don't know."
"Of course," he said, grabbing the brush before gently using it on her hair, careful not to tug.
"Kind of," he admitted. "I just don't like the thought."
She watched him thoughtfully for a moment, before speaking. "I have my next order," she said. "Tell me nice things."
