He chuckled. "Actually my parents kind of made me stop." He chuckled nervously. "It's fine, I guess."
She nodded in agreement before looking up at him. "Thank you for letting me try to walk and stand. I know you didn't want me to."
He exhaled, nodding a little reluctantly. "Yeah. We should."
"To focus on schoolwork and stuff. Piano was taking up a lot of my time."
"Definitely not," she said. "I'm super comfortable right now."
He softly rested his forehead against her shoulder, sighing deeply. "I love you too."
"Nothing. I don't have lessons for awhile." He shook his head. "I'm taking a break."
"Even then," she said agreeably, kissing his collarbone. "It's fantastic."
His hand gently rubbed her back as he sighed. "I don't know what I would do without you," he said softly. "God.. I love you so much."
"I know a lot of songs," he answered. "I don't have a favorite."
She chucked. "Waking up to see you is a lovely thing."
She sighed, unable to deny her request. He flicked on his blinker and checked for the other cars before pulling off to he side, stopping the car.
"I'm sure," he said sarcastically. "I won't tell."
She stirred again, this time waking up. "Hmm?"
He glanced at her from the corner of his eye for a moment. "Why?"
"I promise I will," he said, grinning as he pushed a serious voice.
She only shifted slightly, her eyebrows furrowing momentarily before she relaxed again.
He sighed, obviously a bit tense as he pulled out of the driveway.
He smiled against her lips. "Okay," he said quietly. "I'll keep it on the down low."
Avice was still, soundly asleep in his arms.
