Separate names with a comma.
"Yeesh," he muttered, his tone sarcastic. "Sorry."
She sighed, turning to look at him. "If I'm making you nervous then we can stop."
"If you can't remember specifics," he said, "it doesn't count."
"I might have said your sneeze was cute, though," he said quickly, adjusting to his preferred position.
"I'm fine," she said sharply, her words sounding harsher than intended. "I'm sorry. I'm... I'm okay."
"Name the 12 times I won then, hm?"
"I didn't say anything," he recovered smoothly, sitting down on the chair.
She took a step, the sudden shift of weight caused her to intake sharply, wincing slightly, though she didn't say anything.
He turned to look at her. "I don't think so."
He chuckled. "Bless you," he said, before speaking again, this time quieter. "That was adorable."
"I will," she said, her grip on his arm was a bit shaky, but she didn't mention it.
He frowned. "Just this once."
"I'm sure it will be fine," he said. "Besides, tuning it is a hassle."
"It'll be fine, Jack," she said, her tone reassuring. "If you need me to stop then I'll stop."
He squinted at her, giving in and taking a chocolate chip one.
"But you do play cello, which is very neat."
She held him arm tightly, her knees shaking slightly. "I'm okay. It only hurts a little bit."
"I want you to eat it so you can feel my pain," he told her firmly.
"Oh, I see," he said. "Is it nice?"
She nodded, already grabbing onto his arm. "Okay."
