"That's fine," he said, sighing slightly. "As long as he doesn't try to attack, or anything."
"I trust you enough," he said. "I know it's not the first time that's happened.."
She snuggled, pretending as if she were about to cry. "How could you be so mean at a time like this?'
"Evan is always mad," he said. "Maybe we just shouldn't tell him."
He looked at her. "Well I would hope you'd think that."
"Don't tease my immobility, Curnow," she said, squinting at him. "I'm injured. "
"Yeah," he said. "I did it, though."
He laughed. "That he is."
"Not since last night," she answered, sighing as she leaned back.
"Of course," he said. "My pleasure."
He glanced at her, kissing her cheek before taking her hand to lead her up the stairs. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that."
"Both," she said quietly, looking up at him.
"Perfect," he said, giving her a kiss. "I'm glad."
He sighed frustratedly. "Do you want to go to our room?"
She paused a moment. "Hm. No I don't think so."
"So it can get better?"
"I can talk to him," he told her. "Not right now, though."
She frowned, turning her head. "I feel sick," she mumbled.
He frowned. "Of course not.. do you?"
